Community Standards

Expected Behavior

As members of the body of Christ gathering for Charisma Conference, we commit to these standards of conduct

Respect & Honor

Treat all attendees, speakers, volunteers, and staff with respect and kindness
Honor the diversity of backgrounds, cultures, and expressions within the body of Christ
Use language that builds up and encourages rather than tears down
Respect personal boundaries and physical space of others
Show grace and patience during worship, teaching, and ministry times

Worship Environment

Maintain a reverent atmosphere during worship and teaching sessions
Silence or set devices to vibrate during main sessions
Avoid disruptive conversations during speakers and ministry times
Be mindful of others when expressing worship (dancing, clapping, etc.)
Support the flow of the Holy Spirit through attentiveness and participation

Safety & Security

Follow all venue safety guidelines and emergency procedures
Report any safety concerns immediately to event staff or security
Wear provided identification badges at all times during the event
Stay in designated areas and respect restricted zones
Comply with directions from event staff, volunteers, and security personnel

Digital & Media

Photography and recording are permitted for personal use only
Respect others’ privacy - ask permission before photographing individuals
Do not live stream or record sessions without explicit permission
Tag @theheirschurch when sharing content on social media
Use hashtag #CharismaConference to join the online conversation

Security Guidelines

Prohibited Items

For the safety and security of all attendees, the following items are not permitted at Charisma Conference

Weapons of any kind

Illegal drugs or substances

Outside food and beverages (unless medically necessary)

Professional recording equipment without prior approval

Large bags or backpacks (small purses and necessary items allowed)

Promotional materials not approved by event organizers

Items that could be used to disrupt the event

Security Note: All bags and personal items are subject to search upon entry. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe environment for all attendees.

Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this code of conduct, please report it immediately. All reports will be handled with discretion and care.

Harassment or Discrimination

Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior

Safety Concerns

Immediate threats, medical emergencies, or unsafe conditions

Code Violations

Violations of any part of this code of conduct

Suspicious Activity

Any behavior or activity that seems out of place or concerning

Emergency: Contact venue security or call 911

Non-emergency: Find any staff member with an “Event Staff” badge

Enforcement

Violations of this code of conduct may result in the following actions, depending on the severity and nature of the incident:

Warning

Verbal or written warning with explanation of violation

Temporary Removal

Temporary removal from specific sessions or areas

Ejection

Removal from the event without refund for serious violations

Legal Action

Law enforcement involvement for illegal activities

Our Heart: We desire restoration and reconciliation. Our enforcement is always aimed at protecting the community while providing opportunity for growth and restoration.
